Giovanni Antonio and Caterina were married on 5 March 1685 and the family members grew from year to year. In 1692 their fourth child, Giuseppe, was born. The couple had nine children altogether - Domenico, Maria Maddalena, Pietro, Giuseppe, Caterina, Antonio, Pietro, Anna and Pietro - but three of them died soon after birth.
