17 - First violin in the orchestra of the Teatro di Fano

The archives reveal that at Fano Tartini played the first violin in the town theatre’s orchestra in the Carnival Season 1717-18. In the Italy of the 1700s every Carnival coincided with the most important season of opera. Every year dozens of new melodramas were put on, right along the peninsula.
