The Vulgate transmitted by Francesco Fanzago saw Tartini living hidden in the convent for years until during a mass a gust of wind raised the blanket that hid the orchestra from the faithful. Among these faithful there was a Paduan who recognized him and once at home he told his wife, Elisabetta Premanzore, that he had seen him. Shortly thereafter Tartini returned to Padua and was reunited with his wife.
